I am a particle physicist working on searches for physics Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) at particle colliders, with a focus on unconventional signatures emerging from dark sectors. My work combines particle physics phenomenology, experimental data analysis within the CMS experiment (over 4000 members from around 240 institutes and universities from more than 50 countries) at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, and the development of advanced Machine Learning techniques to hunt for subtle signals in the vast LHC dataset. I am also contributing to studies for future particle colliders, such as the FCC-ee. Such machine offers an experimentally clean environment providing unique opportunities to probe challenging BSM scenarios, inspire novel reconstruction algorithms and informe detector design.
My research focuses on beyond-standard-model (BSM) searches at current particle colliders, such as the LHC, and future ones, such as the FCC-ee, with particular emphasis on unconventional signatures emerging from the Hidden Valley scenario. In particular, up so far, my research focused on a new set of signatures emerging from QCD-like dark sectors, and known as semi-visible jets.

Leadership of the DQM group (~15 members) responsible for monitoring and validating jet and missing transverse momentum performance.
Elected representative of PhD students, contributing to academic governance and institutional dialogue.
